I was playing with Twitterific while riding home from New Albany, Mississippi last weekend. There is a feature to search “near by” tweets. Any one who has made their location public shows up if they are within your radius. Lessons learned, lots of people tweet in Pensacola, FL, not so many people tweeting in rural Mississippi. Even with only two people tweeting I was able to find reference to some local recreation.
