After 20+ hours of traveling, missed flights, lost luggage, it’s all worth it. I have found the perfect beer. It is a heavenly melding of BEER and BACON! The smell says bacon, the taste says beer. Actually this might take some getting use to. In the mean time there are 10 breweries in town and another 80 in the region.

Seriously though, all of us are having a great time. Jet lag is an issue but we are doing all the right things. Max is actually discovering new foods. He is now eating sauerkraut and wieners.
Our apartment is great. It is three rooms facing a driveway/courtyard. The owners and their adult children own and live in the building. One of the best breweries in town is directly across the street. Trucks leaving in the morning might be our only problem.
The Sprachinstitut Treff Punkt school is about a 1/4 mile from our apartment. The pedestrian district is a block past that. We have already checked out several sidewalk cafes, and Stephanie is already planning her shopping days
